Telegram notifications
Selltix sends you a direct message when a trade on your keys opens or closes and when something is wrong with a position or a key. It needs the ID of your Telegram chat - a number. Only you and Selltix see it.
Step 1. Find your ID
- In Telegram open the bot @userinfobot and press Start.
- It answers with a line Id - a number like
123456789. That is the ID of your private chat.
The ID is neither a phone number nor a username (@name): it is the number.
Step 2. Let the bot write to you
- In the app open My exchanges → the Telegram notifications card. The hint under the form names the Selltix bot.
- Find that bot in Telegram and press Start. Without it Telegram does not let a bot message you first.
Step 3. Save the ID in Selltix
- Paste the number into Chat ID and press Check and save.
- Selltix sends a test message at once. If it arrives, the settings are saved. If not, nothing is saved and the reason is shown under the form.
Notifications to a group
Add the Selltix bot to the group and use the group's ID. Group IDs are negative (for example -1001234567890); add @userinfobot to the group or forward it a message from the group to see it.
Your own bot instead of the Selltix bot
- Open @BotFather, send
/newbotand name the bot. BotFather gives a token like123456:ABC-DEF… - Open your new bot and press Start.
- In the Telegram notifications card enter the chat ID and the token. The token is stored encrypted.
If the test message did not arrive

What arrives
Trades on your keys opening and closing with their result, warnings about a leg left open, positions that differ from the exchange, a stop by the daily loss limit, and a key that gained the withdrawal permission. The Disconnect button in the same card switches the notifications off.
